FROST-A-TIERS CAKE CLUB
Frost-a-tiers, the Houston area’s original cake club founded in the late 1980s, is a non-profit organization that aims to bring people together who are interested in the sugar and confectionary arts. Members of different skill levels share ideas, recipes, tips, and techniques through informal, monthly meetings that conveniently take place at the Cake Craft Shoppe in Stafford, Texas. Frost-a-tiers bylaws are kept on file with the club secretary at the meetings.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month from 6 – 8 p.m. During the meetings, members are encouraged but not mandated to bring in a sugar arts project to match the month’s theme and share about the decorating process so everyone learns from each other. We also socialize over refreshments and watch a video tutorial or a member doing a live and/or interactive demonstration focusing on a decorating technique. We also have a raffle prize drawing at each meeting. We are a casual and cozy cake club but we invite you to join us–the more the merrier!
