Frost-a-tiers held a membership drive to revitalize the cake club after the pandemic affected our meeting dates for two years. Refreshments were served and door prizes were given away. Aloha to President Edna (who served for five years) and welcome to new President Cyndi! Ten new members registered and are ready to meet regularly in person in 2023!

Frost-a-tiers finally met in person after two years since the pandemic began. Members proudly wore their new pink cake club shirts for the first time. We discussed re-energizing the club for the next year by planning an information session in December. Meeting dates, times and themes for 2023 will be determined.
The club congratulates Cyndi B. for being elected as the new Frost-a-tiers president. Thanks also to Edna B. for her service as president for the past five years. She designed the logo, website and tee shirts.

Summer is almost underway so Frost-a-tiers President Edna and Vice President Karen created an “Under the Sea” cake to share and discuss at the summer meeting theme held via Zoom.

What a difference a year makes! Frost-a-tiers met for the first time in its history via Zoom to stay safe from socializing during a global pandemic. After the spring, summer and fall 2020 meetings were cancelled due to COVID-19, members caught up with each other and planned for additional Zoom meetings for the rest of 2021. Have a happy and healthy new year.

Frost-a-tiers had a “Passion for Fashion” at their first meeting of the year and decade. Members brought in shoe cakes and cookie displays to match the theme. Edna B. won the theme challenge for her glamorous glittering red shoe/rose/pearls cake. The new Ruby Chocolate product was made into lipstick candies. Kathy B. demonstrated how to use Flex-Frost fabric sheets and edible lace to dress up and decorate a cake.
